I was given the opportunity to review Cook'n Recipe Organizer.
I am an avid baker. I love to bake cookies, pies, candy, brownies...anything sweet. At one point last fall, I baked 95 dozen cookies to sell at the Fall Festival at my mom's church. We have a cookbook that has photo pages - where you can peel the plastic film up and press the paper to the slightly sticky sheet underneath, and it's great for organizing recipes, but I spend so much time on the computer that I was thrilled to have a recipe organizer like Cook'n that is online and on the computer.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite think to cook is this one creamy brussel sprouts dish that I make. It's so good.
ReplyDeleteI am a baker just like you, but 95 dozen cookies? Were they all the same? How long did that take you? I make about 20 different kinds of cookies, bars, and candy at Christmas time and it usually takes me a week.
ReplyDeleteI made about 10 different kinds. I prepped for 3 weeks in advance, mixing up dough and freezing dough balls to make it easier to bake later. Then I did all the actual baking in about 4 or 5 days. Freezing the dough balls ahead of time was really the best idea - and I found it on someone's blog :)
